The success of the Parker Task force would not be possible without the generous support of people living in our Parker CO neighborhoods and surrounding areas.

The Task Force, which is solely operated by volunteers, is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping individuals and families living in and around Parker.

The next large undertaking on the organization’s calendar is Thanksgiving Dinner in Parker CO. With the goal of bringing food to local families in need for Thanksgiving, the Task Force is seeking food donations, financial donations, and volunteers to help make this year’s Thanksgiving Dinner a success.

Help a Needy Family This Year with a Thanksgiving Dinner at The Food Bank in Parker CO

Thanksgiving Dinner in Parker CO

Food Baskets: The Food Bank is asking volunteers to donate food baskets that will be provided to local families in need. If you are interested in donating a food basket and you have questions about the process, please call the Food Bank at (303) 841-3460 or visit the Task Force’s website for more information. On the website is a list of specific food items to add to your food basket to create a complete Thanksgiving dinner.

If you are interested in providing a food basket, please deliver it to the Task Force building at 19105 Longs Way between 9:00 am and noon the week before Thanksgiving during the days and times that the food bank is open for business:

  • Tuesday November 14
  • Wednesday November 15
  • Friday November 17
  • Saturday November 18
  • Sunday, November 19

Financial Donation: If you would rather make a monetary or gift card donation to the Food Bank on behalf of the Thanksgiving Dinner mission, the Task Force accepts donations in any amount. Donations can be made by check, credit card or PayPal. Please visit the donations page for more information on how to send a donation.

Donated money may be used to help a family that cannot pay a utility bill or an individual or family that needs help paying for necessary prescription medication. Donated gift cards that can be used at a grocery store are also welcomed and appreciated!

You Can Help All Year Round with Your Donations to The Food Bank in Parker CO

Task Force Food Bank: The food bank is always seeking donations of non-perishable food items. Donations are accepted all year long, and the Task Force welcomes local businesses, religious organizations, schools, and anyone interested in participating to hold a food drive on behalf of the Food Bank.

All donations are used to help individuals and families in need who are living in and around the area.
