Be Inspired by Local Art at the Downtown Denver Arts Festival
No plans for Memorial Day Weekend? Stop by the Denver Arts Festival to enjoy the fine arts and fine crafts of over 100 visual artists from Colorado and around the county. Starting in 1999 as the Celebrate Colorado Artists Festival, the Denver Arts Festival seeks to promote the visual arts in Colorado and maintain a thriving arts and cultural scene that will continue to inspire local artists to pick up the paintbrush, sketchpad, or camera for generations to come.
The Denver Arts Festival focuses on local artists, and showcases a handful of national artists that were juried for the show. This year, the Festival expects to see a crowd of more than 50,000 visitors throughout the two-day event.
Safehouse Denver is the non-profit partner of the Denver Arts Festival. A team of volunteers from this organization will help organize volunteers to ensure the event runs smoothly. In return the Denver Arts Festival will promote Safehouse Denver at the show. Safehouse Denver is the only agency in the City and County of Denver that provides both residential and non-residential services specifically for victims of domestic violence and their children.
