The Villages at Castle Rock are situated to the northeast of downtown Castle Rock just a few minutes west of Highway 83. Located near Cobblestone Ranch, the Villages is a new subdivision with modern homes that lies on the border of Castle Rock and Parker, allowing residents to enjoy the unique characters of both of these Douglas County towns. The Villages at Castle Rock is just 40 minutes from Denver, under an hour from Colorado Springs, 30 minutes to the Denver Tech Center, and 20 minutes or less to nearby towns like Centennial, Meridian, and more.

As one of the newer subdivisions of Castle Rock, the Villages has homes that were mostly constructed in 2013. The Villages at Castle Rock is also near Hidden Mesa Open Space, which contains 1,294 acres of stunning mesa, steep-rock cliffs, gulches, grassland, and the Cherry Creek basin. The eastern section is currently connected to the Cherry Creek Trail while the southwestern section will soon connect with Gateway Mesa Open Space. The 4.5 miles of paved and native surface trail are available for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.

Children in the Villages at Castle Rock attend Franktown Elementary, Sagewood Middle School, and Ponderosa High, all part of the Douglas County School System. The public schools in Douglas County are among the best in the state and provide students with an excellent education that helps them to succeed in college and their chosen career.

The Villages is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Castle Rock, which boasts a thriving community of town-wide events, local businesses, fine and casual dining, coffee shops, art galleries, and entertainment along with the famous flat-topped rock formation for which Castle Rock is named.
