The 4.5 miles of paved and native surface trail are available for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.

Children in the Villages at Castle Rock attend Franktown Elementary, Sagewood Middle School, and Ponderosa High, all part of the Douglas County School System. The public schools in Douglas County are among the best in the state and provide students with an excellent education that helps them to succeed in college and their chosen career.
