Springtime is just around the corner! If you are looking for landscaping, gardening or home improvements ideas, the 2017 Colorado Garden and Home Show should not be missed! The show, which has been a favorite Colorado annual event for decades, will run for a full nine days at the Colorado Convention Center in Downtown Denver.
If you are an amateur botanist, a nature lover, a gardener, or simply a person who enjoys browsing booths staffed by a variety of home improvement experts, the Colorado Garden and Home Show is for you!
This year’s show will feature more than 650 companies from all over North America and more than 1,400 booths – including 11 indoor gardens that were designed by professional landscapers. There is quite a bit to see at the show, so plan to spend several hours browsing and learning about gardening, home improvement and brand new state-of-the-art products that are designed to make home improvement more simple than ever.
2017 Colorado Garden and Home Show Details:
Who: All are welcome to attend the Garden and Home Show! There are displays, booths, activities and products designed for people of all ages – including young children.
What: The Colorado Garden Foundation says this about the show: “Discover the Rocky Mountain region’s oldest, largest, and most prestigious garden and home show – a nine-day spectacular event – where you can find inspiration from the latest ideas and trends in landscaping, gardening and home improvement.”
When: The show runs from Saturday, February 4, 2017 through Sunday, February 12, 2017. It is open varying hours on each day. Please check the Garden and Home Show’s website for specific hours on each day.
Cost: On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and children age 12 and younger are free. On weekdays (Monday-Thursday), tickets are 2 for 1 Admission.
If you want to purchase tickets in person at the Convention Center, you can receive a $2.00 discount by bringing a non-perishable food item (which will be donated to 9Cares Colorado Shares). Tickets can also be purchased in advanced at participating King Soopers locations.
Please note that tickets can only be used for one entrance to the show on any given day, so you will have to purchase multiple tickets if you plan to attend more than once.

Show Highlights
The Colorado Garden and Home Show features several highlights. This year, the show will include the following:
Feature Gardens: Among the 11 indoor professionally landscaped gardens will be a 5,500 square foot garden near the show’s entrance that will feature a multitude of fragrances!
Theatre Sessions: Visitors are welcome to attend as many theatre sessions as desired, and all are included in the show’s admission price. A full schedule of sessions is available on the show’s website, and includes demonstrations and how-to seminars.
9News Hot Products Zone: If you are looking for unique and special products that might not be easy to find in many retail stores, the Hot Products Zone is the place to look.
If you want to see it all, make sure to allot several hours of time to this year’s Garden and Home Show. There is quite a bit to see, and you won’t want to feel rushed. Not only is this event fun, educational and inspirational, but the revenue generated from the event goes towards a great cause: providing grants and scholarships for horticulture projects throughout Colorado.
